Connections Business Started
Connections was set up to provide a typesetting service for councils who needed to publish bus timetables. A mapping service soon followed.
August 1989
Pindar Graphics buys Connections
Specialist catalogue printer, Pindar Graphics buys the Connections business to add to their portfolio.
February 1994
Pindar Graphics & Routel
Pindar Graphics formed a partnership with the journey planning specialist company Routel and created Pindar Travel Information Systems Limited..
April 1996
First Interactive Mapping website in the UK
Working with Buckinghamshire County Council, Pindar created seven layers of mapping allowing users to zoom in and out and to pan around. The mapping is also linked to all the bus timetables and has the first county-wide bus journey planner.

Pindar Graphics becomes Pindar plc
All divisions of the Pindar Group merge, Pindar Graphics starts trading as Pindar plc.
Aug 1999
First UK's Cyclemap website
Working with Eastleigh Borough Council, Pindar created the UK first interactive cycle map website.

Pindar move to new offices
Pindar team expands and moves to a new office in Edison Road, Aylesbury

Pindar win TfL Bus Maps
TfL award Pindar with contract to product all bus related at stop mapping

Custom Catalogue
The web team developed an automated online catalogue pagination system which goes on to be used by Speedo, Lacoste, Barbour & Sony among others.

Halstan buys the Aylesbury division of Pindar plc
Following Pindar plc falling into administration, the Aylesbury branch of Pindar is sold to Halstan, the specialised music printer in Amersham and Pindar Creative is formed.

Pindar Creative wins a new contract with Dublin's National Transport Authority for public transport maps of the Greater Dublin area.

London 2012 Olympics
Pindar Creative was awarded this prestigious contract as a cartographic supplier to provide support to the Olympic Delivery Authority in the creation of graphical maps and schematics to support their in-house team leading up to and during the Olympics.
