Pindar Creative was delighted to exhibit at this year's Cycle City Active City Conference, held at Newcastle Civic Centre last week.

We made the decision to attend this event for the 2nd year running due to the packed programme, presentations and workshops available across the two-day conference, with over 350 delegates attending. The conference topic was also very relevant as we are specialists in sustainable travel publicity, including cycle maps and interactive mapping websites.

It was a great opportunity for Pindar Creative to meet the customers that we deal with regularly and see and hear best practise, resource sharing and innovative presentations from across the UK. It was also a very good platform for us to introduce the new printed products and online solutions that we now offer for active travel, cycling and walking publicity along with many of the new school maps we have created.

The first day was opened by Nick Forbes, Leader of Newcastle City Council and Robert Goodwell MP (Minister of Transport), followed by many further presentations throughout the two days. It is always a pleasure to hear Chris Boardman promote Cycling on behalf of British Cycling.
